Foundation would second lipstick as my desert island makeup must have! I chop and change what brand and formula I use depending on occasion, time of year and how my skin is behaving, so I always like to have a few on the go. I’ve rounded up my top It List approved foundations below 👇

Nars Light Reflecting Foundation

The ultimate glow foundation & a skincare / makeup hybrid! If you love a dewy glow this one is for you. The light reflecting technology ensures the glow never fades and it still provides considerable coverage. For me, this is my good skin day foundation, I love it in summer time and for more natural makeup days as although there’s good coverage the consistency is so light so perhaps not one for problem skin.

Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation

Probably my favourite Nars foundation, a beautifully creamy texture which gives amazing coverage. I find myself going back to this time and time again. It has 16 hours staying power so it’s great for a long day in the office or for a special occasion.

Mac Studio Radiance Foundation

A new find of mine having spent most of my 20s wearing Mac I decided to try their latest launch & love it! Great for coverage it goes on really easily and lasts so well. Foundations and lipsticks are something I think Mac does better than most.

Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation

A medium coverage super hydrating foundation which gives a gorgeous glow. I find myself reaching for this for a night out / special occasion as it has great staying power.

Obsessed with this foundation, it gives great coverage, it’s lightweight, buildable & I love their shades.

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

A cult classic & my favourite summer / holiday foundation. I love how lightweight it is and it really adds to your holiday glow. I don’t like to team this foundation with powder as I feel it contradicts the formula so I keep it for summer. It doesn’t have as strong staying power as others but still a firm favourite. Build it up with a little concealer for extra coverage.

Suqqu The Liquid Foundation

A super luxurious foundation in price point and formula. Feels like a luxury serum but gives great coverage. Suqqu is a brand I’ve loved since I started working in beauty PR as I was lucky enough to work on the brand. It was adored by celebrities like Margot Robbie and praised by beauty editors everywhere. A stunning product fused with 13 skin loving ingredients including collagen and hyalouronic acid. It gives a your skin but better base.
